~ Cancer Comfort Angels provides simple acts of kindness which comes in the form of our “Comfort Kits”.

Laurie Ann Rasinski

December 8, 1963 – April 4, 2016

It’s with deep sadness to announce our Dearest Friend, Leader and Founder of the Cancer Comfort Angels has passed away after a 9 year battle with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.

Laurie was extremely active within the community, she was a founder of our faith based organization, Cancer Comfort Angels. She was an active member of the Kent Island United Methodist Church. Laurie’s greatest love was her family & friends and watching her children play sports.

She was an incredible woman, full of courage,

love, strength, kindness and grace.

If you had the pleasure of knowing her

you should consider yourself blessed.

She was one in a million ~ may she rest in peace forever.

Our forever Angel – You will live in our hearts eternally!

About Us

We are a Christian based non-profit program that helps our local community with their journey with Cancer!

Cancer Comfort Angels is a Christian based non-profit program to help out those battling cancer in our local community, and beyond. Our organization provides a simple act of kindness, which comes in the form of our “Comfort Kits”. Our Comfort Kits include a blanket, words of prayer, as well as a cross and other items helpful while going through treatment. We want those battling cancer to know they are not alone in their fight.
